Booking Overview
Introduces students to coding, electronics, and robotics through exciting hands-on projects that bring technology to life. Using the Micro:bit’s sensors, LEDs, buttons, and wireless features, learners create games, smart devices, musical instruments, and interactive gadgets while developing computational thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. By the end of the camp, students will have built and programmed eight unique projects and gained confidence as young inventors and makers.
Class 1: LIGHT & MOTION DETECTOR
Build a smart gadget that uses sensors to detect changes in light and display alerts on the Micro:bit.
Class 2: DIGITAL DICE & FUN GAMES
Create a shake-controlled digital dice and turn it into an interactive game with scoring and player inputs.
Class 3: SMART WEATHER STATION
Design a weather station that reads temperature data and displays different responses based on conditions.
Class 4: MICRO:BIT MUSIC MAKER
Program melodies and create a button-controlled musical instrument using the Micro:bit’s sound features.
Class 5: GESTURE-CONTROLLED CAR
Use tilt gestures and wireless communication to build the foundations of a remote-controlled robotic vehicle.
Class 6: SMART ALARM SYSTEM
Develop a home security system that combines multiple sensors and logic to trigger alarms.
Class 7: REACTION TIME GAME
Code a fast-paced game that measures reaction speed, tracks scores, and adds increasing levels of challenge.
Class 8: MICRO:BIT PET SIMULATOR
Create a virtual pet that responds to user inputs and uses coding concepts such as loops, conditions, and variables to simulate needs and emotions.
