AI Coding for Kids – Level 2 takes everything students discovered in Level 1 and goes dramatically further. Over 8 live sessions, learners move beyond face and hand detection to explore the full spectrum of modern AI: body pose tracking, emotion recognition, object classification, and Natural Language Processing. Each lesson is built around a project that feels genuinely exciting — cleaning oceans with eye blinks, building a fitness trainer that checks your form, creating a chatbot that actually understands questions. These aren’t simplified toy versions of AI; they’re real techniques used in health tech, robotics, education, and consumer apps. Students finish Level 2 as confident, capable AI creators with a portfolio of projects they built themselves.
Class 1: Clean Up the Ocean
A lesson with real-world purpose! Students use AI face detection to track their eye blinks — each blink removes a piece of virtual ocean pollution from the screen. It’s an imaginative introduction to how AI can read subtle physical signals, wrapped in a mission that feels genuinely meaningful from the very first session.
Class 2: Reach Robotica City
Welcome to Robotica City — where your face is your passport. Students master video masking techniques and combine them with live face tracking to unlock an AI-powered animated journey. This lesson builds a solid understanding of how AI locates and follows a face through a scene, with a visual payoff that always impresses.
Class 3: Emotion Detector
Can a computer tell if you’re happy, surprised, or confused? In this lesson, students find out — by building the detector themselves. They train an AI model using facial landmarks (the key points mapped across a face) to recognise different emotions, gaining a fascinating window into how modern sentiment analysis and emotion AI actually works.
Class 4: AI Quiz App
No hands needed — students answer quiz questions by moving their shoulders! This lesson introduces body pose tracking and Boolean logic, using shoulder position to select answers on screen.
